Department: College (students 19 to 25 years)

Location: The Sheiling Ringwood

Employment Type: Permanent

Hours & Working Patterns: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time (41 working weeks, including training days)

Salary: £19,039-£20,020 per annum (already pro-rated to reflect term time only working – full year equivalent would be £20,820-£21,893)

Training & Development: Option to study for fully funded, industry recognised Level 3 and 4 qualifications

Our College is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants to complement our educational team.

Working with students who have varied learning needs and often quite complex support needs, you'll be assisting our teachers and other colleagues to deliver learning programmes; both in the classroom and the community. Typically, your role will be to support the class teacher to deliver specific curriculum sessions, working on a one-to-one basis helping students in their small class group, attending to their learning and physical needs including therapy programmes.
