Hours & Working Patterns: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time (41 working weeks, including training days)

Salary: £25,350-£38,664 per annum (already pro-rated to reflect term time only working – full year equivalent would be £28,337-£43,220)

The Sheiling Ringwood is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our incredible multi-disciplinary team. Our team here at The Sheiling Ringwood are passionate and committed to making sure our brilliant students’ needs are not only met, but that they have an opportunity to thrive.

The Sheiling Ringwood is a specialist school and college of 70 students with moderate to severe learning difficulties and disabilities, between the ages of 5 – 25. As a member of the Camphill Communities, we provide education and residential care services within a beautiful environment, where all staff have the opportunity to make an impact on the young people we work with.

The successful applicant will have numerous opportunities across the years for ongoing professional development and CPD, and have a chance to specialise within the sector; such as AAC, feeding and autism. As well as access to highly specialist supervision and support, to work within a progressive/forward-thinking SaLT team, and to liaise closely with the dynamic MDT.

Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners, Speech and Language Therapists and assistant, Art Counsellor, Occupational Therapists, visiting Physiotherapist, and our Creative/Anthroposophical Therapists all make up our large multidisciplinary team at The Sheiling Ringwood. Along with the residential teams and the wider education, you will play a crucial role and be an integral part of the services provided.
