How far back should I go with my employment details?
Please complete the application form fully, ensuring there are no gaps. We need your education/school dates as a starting point, with all your history up to the present day.  Any gaps in employment should be explained fully in the appropriate section on the form.

 

Can I submit a CV instead of completing an application form?
No, as part of our safer recruitment checks, we need you to fill out our application form. CVs cannot be accepted.

 

Can I submit my CV as well as filling out the application form?
No, we can only accept application forms for all our vacancies.

 

Can I attach my CV to my application form?

No, we do not accept CVs. Any CVs received will be disregarded under our Safer Recruitment Policy, so please ensure you fully complete the requested information within the application form before submitting.

 

I already have a valid DBS certificate from my last job – can you accept that for my role at the Sheiling?Unless you have registered on the DBS update service, the certificate is not transferable and you will need to apply for a new one.

 

Can I come for a visit to get a feel for the role and workplace?
Normally we welcome visits from prospective applicants however, due to Covid-19 we, like so many others, are having to restrict the foot fall across our site. Therefore, we cannot offer this service at the present time but are happy to answer any questions you may have over the telephone.
