Lunchtime Assistant - School
Department: School Education (students 5–19 years)
Location: The Sheiling Ringwood
Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time
Hours & Working Patterns: 12.5 hours per week: (12.15pm-2.45pm Monday to Friday) Term Time (41 working weeks, including training days)
Salary: £7,896-£8,146* per annum (already pro-rated to reflect term time working – full year equivalent would be £28,247-£29,150*)
*New salary effective September 2025

We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team of caring and compassionate Support Workers, who are committed in providing the very best quality of care and support to our young people (5-19) to enable them to reach their full potential.
Working and sharing meals with students, your role as Lunchtime Assistant will involve being an integral member of a multidisciplinary team helping to support and encourage students to develop and maintain social skills and relationships with the house community; helping them to achieve personal development targets. You will have a calm and patient disposition, highly effective communication skills and be unfazed by challenging behaviour.
