Location: The Sheiling Ringwood

Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time

Hours & Working Patterns: 20 hours per week, Term Time (41 working weeks, including training days)

Salary: £11,340-£11,700 per annum (already pro-rated to reflect term time working – full year equivalent would be £25,700-£26,520)

Interview Process: Successful candidates will be invited to a formal interview, tour of our wonderful setting, and of course lunch. Please therefore expect to be here for approximately 3 hours

We are seeking a motivated, passionate Cook to join one of our Residential houses, working with a team committed to providing the very best quality of education, care and support to young people, enabling them to reach their full potential.

The role involves planning, preparing, cooking and presenting wholesome and home-cooked meals for between 20 and 30 students and staff. The meals we serve are always nutritious, well-balanced, delicious, and predominantly seasonal and local produce. Strict adherence to Food Hygiene and Safety Regulations, and knowledge of catering for special dietary needs, are essential.

We are looking for candidates who pride themselves on running an organised, clean, healthy, and welcoming kitchen – if you have Hospitality and Catering qualifications, and / or experience of working with people with Special Education Needs, even better!
