Hours & Working Patterns: Term time (41 working weeks, including training days); 37.5 hours per week (part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate)

Salary: £21,966 to £24,143 gross per annum (point 14 – 17, increasing annually as qualification progresses and completes) (FTE £24,544 to £26,988 gross per annum)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a trainee (unqualified), innovative and motivated Eurythmy Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team. You will be working with our school and college students (aged 6-25 years).

We are a dynamic, friendly multi-disciplinary team made up of: anthroposophical therapists (including an Anthroposophical Doctor), Behaviour Support Coordinators, Speech and Language Therapists, a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapists and a Registered Nurse. You will be part of this team, yet we expect an ability to work under the supervision of the Eurythmy Therapist across school and college. You will also be part of a creative therapy department, working closely with other therapists/practitioners.

This post offers the opportunity to support children/young adults with complex needs to engage holistically with Eurythmy therapy to support the students and the intended therapeutic benefits of the therapy.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Eurythmy Teacher, and will be expected to be on the formal therapist training pathway and to adhere to the requirements of the course criteria. You will have mentoring from a qualified Eurythmy Therapist and will be line managed by the Head of Health and Therapy.

In addition, you will be consolidating your skills in managing a caseload and multidisciplinary team working. The caseload is varied and can cover autistic spectrum disorder, developmental delay, learning disabilities and neurological conditions. You will be confident, adaptable and dynamic to provide assessment and interventions for students. This will include: one to one therapeutic sessions, group therapeutic sessions, attending meetings, planning sessions and MDT discussion.
