Lunchtime Assistant

Department: Residential Care (students 6 – 19 years)

Location: The Sheiling Ringwood

Employment Type: Permanent, Part-Time

Hours & Working Patterns: 12.5 hours per week: (12.15pm - 2.45pm Monday to Friday) Term time (41 working weeks, including training days)

Salary: £6,255 to £6,662 (£10.75 to £11.45 per hour)

Working and sharing meals with students, your role as Lunchtime Assistant will involve being an integral member of a multidisciplinary team helping to support and encourage students to develop and maintain social skills and relationships with the house community; helping them to achieve personal development targets. You will have a calm and patient disposition, highly effective communication skills and be unfazed by challenging behaviour.
